​Be sure to obtain or hold your child(ren)’s place as a part of the magic at CSNC. The 2024-2025 school year promises to be the best one yet for your children at CSNC! We invite all of our scholars to return to grow through the wonderful education and programs provided by the School.  And we invite all new students to join the Jaguars.

Application Process

To enroll in Kindergarten, students must be 5 years of age by August 31st of the current school year.

Who can Apply?

Admission to Charter School of New Castle is open to any student who is a Delaware resident.

When to Apply?

Returning Families – CSNC Returning Families PLEASE​ complete an Intent to Return Form. This can be done online using the link above, or the completed form can be returned to the school office or to your student’s teacher.
 
New Families – CSNC is now accepting New Student applications for the 2024-2025 school year for grades Kindergarten – 8. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis AFTER THE CHOICE WINDOW HAS CLOSED. You can apply online using the link above; or come into our main office to complete an Application.

Required Documentation

In order to complete the enrollment process, you must submit the following:

       1. Proof of Age
       2. Proof of a completed lead test for all
            Kindergarten applicants
       3. Updated Immunization (2 varicella shots)
       4. 2 Proofs of Residency*
           *a. Lease / Mortgage and one utility bill
           *b. Two utility bills, (gas, water and/or electric bills
                   accepted)
       5. Photo I.D. for parent / guardian
       6. Custody Documentation (if applicable)

Please Note:
Parents/guardians residing with a friend or relative must submit a notarized letter, signed by the person they are residing with, attesting to their residency, and that of the potential student.  They must also provide a copy of the utility bill of the person they are residing with to attest to the residence address.

After Enrollment:
In an effort to design the proper support to assist your child, accepted applicants will also need to submit the following documents:

1. Copy of Smarter Balanced Scores
2. Copy of Last Report Card
3. Copy of Child's I.E.P. (if applicable)
